Android GPS app can be divided into two types based on the data retrieval process. The first is the Android GPS app Online. To be able to access the data the user navigation requires an internet connection. The application will retrieve data navigation on certain servers via the internet and then display it to the user. The second type is the Android GPS app Offline, which, when using this application we don't require an internet connection, since all the necessary navigation data has been downloaded and stored in the memory of our Android smartphone. From this explanation surely it would be more fun to use the Android GPS app offline, since it can save bandwidth usage of the internet is expensive. However, keep in mind these two equally require a connection to the operator network via satellite.
Android GPS app we recommend is Google Maps Navigation
By default (default) Android Operating System already includes the application Google Maps on it. To be able to run Google Maps Android GPS app and or other we need to activate the GPS feature on our smartphones. Here are the steps:
Setting Up The Android GPS App
- go to the "Homescreen" via the button "Home".
- after having been in the "Homescreen" press the button "Menu"
- Select "settings" and then "Location"
- then PAL will be on view "My Location". There are two options "Use Wireless Network and" Use GPS Satellite "
- the "Use Wireless Networks" will use GPS based on Wi-Fi networks and BTS. While the "Use GPS Satellite" will use GPS based on the signal from the satellite. The second option will give you GPS data which is more than the akurate "Use Wireless Networks" but unfortunately more wasteful batteries.
- Please select which is the best pal for PAL or can also activate both of them, but of course the battery would be drained.
